Goal (1998)

[cap]G[/cap]oal used to be the working title for this game which unfortunately never saw the light of any storeshelf. It was meant to be a realistic soccer manager with loads of settings and possibilities.

My part: Interface; 2D ingame-graphics & animation; 3D modeling & rendering

Specs and goals

At the time hardware specs were still pretty low (first and second generation Pentium) and 3D graphics hardware was still not available in every PC. Therefore the game was mostly done in 2D and needed a lot of assets.
Very important parts of the game - like the soccer match visualization (Spiel am Feld) - were never finished.
Other parts like the city and arena construction editor were pretty much done.
The desktop style interface was also completely custom built from scratch, with animated icons, scaleable windows, background images, and much more.
